The Wizard of Oz by nomichs The Wizard of Oz by nomichs
this version depicts the wizard unveiling his true identity. I thought a giant powered wizard outfit would be more interesting than a pulled back curtain.

He looks like a '30s mad scientist operating a giant robot war machine.

And I mean that as a compliment :)

Definitely a different angle on the story. Seeing how the wizard was supposed to be a mechanical genius, it's surprising that he didn't try this idea.

Beautiful piece, but...

Why would he reveal himself? Isn't the idea that he's trying to be all intimidating, but Dorothy happens to find his secret?

I understand you've created a parallel story, but one must consider character motivations.

No soul selling. bionic hand implants with pressure sensitive receptors capable of compounding external surface manipulation. Unfortunatley they discontinued them.

Wow. That concept rocks - I love the assymetry in the size proportions between the wizard and the suit. Maybe the wizard has an inferiority complex =D

If they ever remake the film, you definitely need to apply as a concept artist or something. I'm sure you'd know how to make it totally BA. Hehe
